Architect, psychotherapist, artist - for me these are not three separate roles. I create my pictures and my psychotherapies. Spontaneity must be well planned. Not just a
psychotherapist and artist, I am an architect as well.

My pictures tell stories. My stories paint pictures. Relaxing. Informal. And very simple. Just like life. Life is very simple. And if you go about it the right way, it will go right. And if you go about it the wrong way, it will go wrong. And there is no right in wrong, Adorno was correct about that. As Oscar WIlde said: "Life imitates Art far more than Art imitates Life".
So have a look. And when we look, we will see. The art I create shows, in my opinion, more truth about human life than scientific articles or texts on psychology. Human beings suffer because they perceive their lives to be boring and kitschy, devoid of meaning. And that is always the case, when something is fake and not authentic. Seen in this way, the Bundespräsident [Federal President of Germany] Christian Wulff was a true representative of the German people.
In my psychotherapy practice, I attempt to achieve the architectural and artistic aim of transforming kitsch into art. This is because kitsch is what happens when someone aims for the stars but hits the ceiling instead, for example when a chicken wants to fly like an eagle but just ends up helplessly hopping around and cackling. Every work of art contains something of the melancholy. However, all art also expresses the possibility of renewal, change, further development and metamorphosis. That is to say, life. And not to forget hope and comfort.
When a work of art is understood, it becomes part of the story, history, the past. Life is there but can only be understood when it is no longer there. As women are especially full of life, and are even capable of producing life, they cannot be understood. Even they do not fully understand themselves. Just like life itself. Men cannot give birth to new life, but they can shape the living as art. If they are able to. Life is always contradictory, only death is constant. People therefore feel at home with art, because, without art, people are more dead than alive.

Meine Bilder erzählen. Meine Erzählungen sind bildhaft. Entspannend. Locker. Und sehr einfach. Wie das Leben. Das Leben ist sehr einfach. Und wenn man es richtig macht, dann wird es richtig. Und wenn man es falsch macht, dann wird es falsch. Und es gibt kein Richtiges im Falschen, da hat Adorno schon recht. Also mal schauen und gucken. Und wenn wir schauen und gucken, dann sehen wir. Wie Oscar Wilde sagte: "Life imitates Art far more than Art imitates Life".
Die Kunst, die ich mache, zeigt meiner Meinung nach mehr Wahrheit über das menschliche Leben, als wissenschaftliche oder psychologische Texte. Die Menschen leiden, weil sie ihr Leben als langweilig und kitschig, ohne Bedeutung empfinden. Und das ist immer so, wenn etwas unecht und nicht authentisch ist. So gesehen, war der Bundespräsident Christian Wulff ein wirklicher Repräsentant des deutschen Volkes. In meiner psychotherapeutischer Praxis versuche ich das architektonische, das künstlerische Ziel zu erreichen, den jeweiligen Kitsch in Kunst zu verwandeln. Denn Kitsch ist dann, wenn jemand will, aber nicht kann, wenn ein Huhn wie ein Adler fliegen will und lediglich hilflos hüpft und ein Gegacker produziert. Jedes Kunstwerk enthält etwas Melancholisches. Allerdings enthält jede Kunst auch eine Möglichkeit der Erneuerung, der Wandlung, der Weiterentwicklung, der Metamorphose. Also einfach das Leben. Und Hoffnung und Trost. Wenn ein Kunstwerk verstanden wird, wird es zum Teil der Geschichte, der Historie, der Vergangenheit. Das Leben ist da, kann jedoch erst verstanden werden, wenn es nicht mehr da ist. Da Frauen besonders lebendig sind, und das Leben sogar hervorbringen können, kann man sie nicht verstehen. Sie verstehen sich selbst zum Teil nicht. Wie das Leben selbst. Männer können kein Leben gebären, aber sie können das Lebendige als Kunst kreieren. Wenn sie es können. Das Leben ist immer widersprüchlich, nur der Tod ist mit sich gleich. Daher fühlen sich die Menschen heimisch in der Kunst, denn außerhalb der Kunst ist der Mensch mehr tot als lebendig.
